Comment of former President, Goodluck Jonathan after his visit to Owerri causes mixed reactions

The former President of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan was in Owerri, the capital city of Imo State for s special assignment today, Monday March 8, 2021.

His visit has caused lots of reactions since the news broke in the early hours of today.

BelieveAll in the morning broke the news that the former President was in the Imo State Government House, Owerri to meet with the State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma before he will embarking on the activities of the day. Some Nigerians had reacted differently in the post made on this platform.

After his visit to the Imo State Government House, where he encouraged and praised the State Governor, Hope Uzodinma on his good works in the State since he took over the affairs of the State, the former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan proceeded to commission a health facilities built by Reverend Father Kenny Udumka in the State.

Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was accompanied by the Imo State Senator, Hope Uzodinma and some of his cabinet members for the commissioning of Aihwa Integrated Medical Clinic, Umuohiagu in Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State.

After the commissioning of the health facilities, the former President, Goodluck Jonathan took to his official Facebook page to announced that he was in Owerri where he commissioned a medical facility, an integrated clinic, built by the American Initiative for Health and Wellness in Africa (AIHWA).

The former President also commended Reverend Father Kenny Udumka and members of AIHWA for completing this multi-million-naira project which is directed towards.

This is the second visit of Dr. Goodluck Jonathan to the South East.

Recall that few day ago, he was also I'm Abia State where he commissioned a Power sub station built by Gregory Ibe, the Chancellor and founder of Gregory University Uturu, Abia State.

Dr. Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan served Nigeria as a President between May 5, 2010 to May 29, 2015 after he lost his re-election bid to the incumbent President, Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

Some people had suggested that the former President, Goodluck Jonathan might to out to contest again for the 2023 Presidential elections, though the former President had also in different times played down the rumours in some section of the media.

After he made revealed that he was in Imo State today, thousands of his social media Followers have taken to the post made on the official Facebook page of the former President, Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan to react to his visit.
