Following the Official trip of His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, for a medical check up in the United Kingdom, Dr. Chris Ngige has come out to share his takes on the matter as several Nigerians condemns the medical trip.
Reports stated that the medical trip of the Nigerian President to the United Kingdom, has caused several controversial reactions across social media platforms as angry Nigerians expressed their grief and pain. Stating that the President isn't supposed to travel out to seek medical assistance and check up.
Rather he should ensure that the Nigerian Medical Sector is in order and working well. This has been the talk and gist of Nigerians on the media since earlier this week, which has led Nigerian Doctors and Medical practitioners to embark on strike.
For this reason, Dr. Chris Ngige who is the Honorable Minister of Labour and Productivity, has come out to boldly defend His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari, on his recent trip to the United Kingdom to seek medical attention. Stating that the President of the Country has the right to seek for medical attention outside the Country.
He further stated that even him who is not sick at the moment, has the right to seek for medical check-up abroad. Adding that he can do it when ever he wants. What do you have to say about the opinion of the Honorable Minister?
