During the APC Governor's Conference held today and streamed live by Nigeria Televion Network (NTA). The Governor of Kaduna State in the person of Nasir El-rufia in conjunction with other APC Governors has given the mandate that all old currencies be used this 31st December 2023 as the stated by the Supreme Court.
However, during the interview by journalists after the conference he noted that CBN Governor deceived the president for his own selfish interest. He noted that it was Godwin Emiefiele idea and strategy to aid the PDP President aspirant win the election. Speaking further El-rufia noted that Emiefiele is of the PDP origin and everything he does concerning withdrawing the old notes, with the intention of Circulating the new notes in three months was to make sure that his preferred presidential candidate is in Power.
The Kaduna State Governor further noted that no future President or CBN Governor can change the decision taken today. Speaking further he said that it for the benefit of all Nigerians who has been affected be the reform strategy.
