President Muhammadu Buhari is the current President of Nigeria, a no-nonsense man known for his pedigree and integrity. 

Born, December 17, 1942 in Daura, Katsina State to the respected family of Mallam Hardo Adamu, a highly revered Fulani Chieftain and his mother, Zuleihat.

President Muhammadu Buhari who is the twenty-third child of his father was raised by his mother after the demise of his father at a tender age of four years old.

The Nigeria President attended Daura Primary School and Mai'adua in 1953 and proceeded to Katsina Middle School and later to Kastina Provincial Secondary School between 1956 to 1961.

He also attended the famous United States Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania where he obtained a Master Degree in Strategic Studies between 1979 to 1980.

At the age of 19 years old, Buhari enrolled in the Nigerian Military Training College in 1962, the College which was later upgraded and renamed Nigeria Defense Academy (NDA). 

after being commissioned as second lieutenant and appointed a Platoon Commander at the age of 20 years in 1963, President Buhari rose to become a Lieutenant Colonel in 1975 when he was appointed by General Murtala Muhammed as Governor of the North-Eastern State from August 1975 to February 1976.

He has also held the position of the Federal Commissioner for Petroleum and Natural Resources from where he recorded tremendously achievement.

He was the Military Secretary at the Army Headquarters and a member of the Supreme Military Council between 1978 to 1979 before. 

He took over power from General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida and became Nigeria Head of State between 1983 to 1985 when he ruled Nigeria as a Military Head of State.

President Muhammadu Buhari made history in 2015 when he defeated the incumbent President Goodluck Johnathan in the March 2015 general election, after failing to win the Nigeria seat of power in the 2003, 2007 and 2011 general elections. It marked the first time an incumbent President will lost an election to an opposition candidate in a general election. He was then reelected in the February 23, 2019 general election overwhelmingly.  

The success story of the no-nonsense man made Nigerians to respect his level of integrity and pragmatic approach to governance continues to be an inspiration to Nigerians.

Baba, as he is fondly called by his admirers is not only strong and healthy at the age of 77 years but also following the current trend. 

After he fell sick and flown to London, his return to Nigeria became a source of concern for many Nigerians if the President will still be strong to rule Nigeria but Baba has proven to be strong and following the current trend. He went round the 36 States of the federation to campaign for his reelection which he won on February 23, 2019. 

President Buhari's public activities do not in any way portray any negative things people might held about his health. He is strong, jovial, smart and proactive.

He has proven to be strong, smart and proactive to lead Nigeria to its desired transformational change in the next three years he has to spend as a President of the most populous black nation on earth.
