His performance will exceed expectations – SWAGA reacts to Tinubu’s victory

The South West Agenda for Asiwaju has sent congratulations to Bola Tinubu, the victor of the presidential election held last Saturday (SWAGA).

The group's national leader, Senator Dayo Adeyeye, expressed confidence that Bola Tinubu's administration would perform above Nigerians' expectations in a statement released on Thursday.

The President-elect will promote national "unity, stop insecurity, speed economic growth, and give renewed hope to Nigerians, especially our teeming youth population," according to SWAGA.

The group asserted that, despite being "laden with hurdles and thorns unknown to many Nigerians," Tinubu's victory could be compared to the culmination of a political journey that they claimed had begun more than 40 years earlier.

"Asiwaju never looked back in his fight to maintain and protect democracy across the length and breadth of the country. He was a man of extraordinary courage and perseverance."

"As the leading organization that initiated the formulation and promotion of the "ASIWAJU PROJECT," we declare unequivocally that BAT's performance will surpass expectation.

Without a doubt, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will uphold the high standards of good government and the distribution of democratic dividends that have become associated with him during the course of his eight years as executive governor of Lagos State from 1999 to 2003.

The group praised the electorates for voting "massively" in favor of the former Lagos governor and urged all Nigerians to work with him to develop the nation.

We wish to express our gratitude to all Nigerians from all political, cultural, and religious backgrounds for their significant support of Asiwaju and to urge them to put the campaign behind them.

"We want them to work alongside the new President to lead our beloved nation to the promised land and a country we can proudly pass on to the next generation of Nigerians," the statement continued.
