The chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrashid Bawa has asked Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara state to expose him if he has any proof of fraudulent activities against him.

The EFCC boss claimed that even though as human beings no one is 100 per cent clean, insisting, Matawalle should expose him if he has any fraud record against him.

He made this known during an interview with the BBC Hausa Service on Thursday.

The factional National Chairman of the Labour Party, Lamidi Apapa, has vowed that he will again, storm the Presidential Petition Tribunal on Friday.

Speaking on the matter while appearing on Arise Television’s Morning Show on Thursday, Apapa said he will be in the court on Friday.

Abia State Commissioner of Police, Mustapha Mohammed Bala has affirmed that Abia is one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria.

CP Baba made this affirmation in his office yesterday evening when the leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS Abia State chapter paid him a courtesy call, stating “I am happy that since I came in as the Commissioner of Police, Abia has not witnessed any student crisis.

“Thank God that Abia is among the most peaceful in the country. As the new government is coming in, security will be provided”.

Buhari appoints Akintola FERMA board chairman.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday approved the appointment of Mr James Akintola as the chairman of the board of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA).

Akintola was appointed to replace Mr. Tunde Lemo, Femi Adesina, spokesperson to the President said in a statement.
