Undoubtedly, the certificate forgery allegation against the reelected Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki can be traced to the suspended National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomole, but was only spearheaded by Edobor Williams, one of the APC members in Edo State.
Fortunately, on Saturday, Justice Ahmed Mohammed of the Federal High Court in Abuja dismissed the suit that the allegation was baseless. For this reason, Obaseki retains his office as the Governor of Edo State for the next four (4) years.

Oshiomole did not know that Obaseki degree certificate was forged when he was his godson, but now that Obaseki left for PDP and fate was on his side by winning the 2020 Edo Election, that is when his certificate was forged. Oshiomole ought to accept the fate that all his plans did not work this time around rather than looking for ways to distract Obaseki from doing the needful in the state, for the masses to enjoy the dividend of democracy.
