
Nigeria has been thrown into mourning once again as the country loses yet another top politician.
Former speaker of the Edo state assembly, Zakawanu Garuba is dead.

According to reports in PUNCH, a family member of Hon. Zakawanu Garuba confirmed that he died of an undisclosed illness in Abuja this morning.
Zakawanu Garuba died at the age of 55. He was born in Akpekpe community, Auchi, in Etsako West Local Government Area, Edo state. He graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State studying Law.
He was one of the top politician in the country and was elected into Edo state house in 2003 before becoming the speaker in 2007.
Zakawanu Garuba has now joined the long list of politicians that have died in 2020.
