Opinion: Why I think Sunday Igboho will be a better leader to his people than Mazi Nnamdi Kanu

First, be informed that, I am neither from Yoruba nor from Igbo. So, my opinion about Sunday Igboho and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is not birthed by sentiment or prejudice but rather by rationality and objectivity.

Sunday Igboho is to the proposed Yoruba Nation or Oduduwa Republic (as the case may be), as Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). The truth is, it is not easy for a single person to stand up for a whole region and fight a given course on behalf of their people. That is one of the reasons why I can't stop myself from admiring and saluting the courage of Sunday Igboho and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Sunday Igboho and Nnamdi Kanu are like two sides of a coin. They are both fighting for a similar course but from different geopolitical regions. In terms of followers, they are doing well for themselves in their own capacity. Their Fan base is quite applaudable.

Be that as it may, from the way I see it, Activist Sunday Igboho has proven his admirable and tenacious leadership characteristics more than his counterpart, Nnamdi Kanu. Why did I feel so? My reasons are not far-fetched.

First, a true leader makes himself accessible to his subjects. If you will agree with me , Sunday has been more accessible to the common people than MNK(Mazi Nnamdi Kanu). As funny as this may sound, most IPOBs do not know NMK in person.

In addition, a good leader fights side by side on ground (not by proxy) with his followers.Without doubts, Sunday Igboho has more than enough money to travel to another country to stay while he mobilize his followers through broadcast and social media content but no, he hasn't done so. He is living with the people, having meetings with them physically but can't be said about MNK. As a matter of fact, he is likely not to be in Nigeria.

If you will sincerely agree with me, Sunday Igboho has shown true leadership traits than NMK. I wish the latter can learn from the former. He will gather more support and confidence from the IPOB.

Sentiments aside, do you agree with me on this subject matter?
