Bashir Ahmad, the Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Digital Communications, has stirred reactions online as he shared a photo of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shettima, the winners of the just concluded presidential election held on February 25, with the caption "Ready to Serve Nigeria and its People."
Bola Tinubu and Shettima who contested for the presidency under the All Progressives Congress (APC), were declared winners by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on March 1 and have since received their certificates of return.
However, the INEC declaration of Tinubu as president-elect has since stirred mixed reactions from Nigerians, with his close rivals in the presidential race disputing the outcome of the election in court.
In the wake of events, Bashir Ahmad, who shared the photo of Tinubu and Shettima on his official Twitter handle to remind Nigerians of their incoming president, received loads of reactions under his comment section.
