The former acting managing director of the NDDC has finally appeared before the house of the Representative committee for Niger Delta Development Commission. Delta
Joy Nunieh in a virtual presentation before the House of Rep committee on NDDC, deny the mismanagement and misappropriation of the 40 billion naira fund. Saying she did not touch the money. But, admits spending 8 billion naira in 4 months. Further adding, how a senator, senator Nwaoboshi collected N1bn from NDDC pulse every month, and how a senator made away with money of over 300 projects from the Niger Delta Development Commission, without carrying out any of the projects.
However, the south south governors and leaders, throw their back behind the Representative probe and condemned the house attempted abduction of the woman as lawlessness. Since, nothing supports the action of the police yesterday, to break into Ms Joy Nunieh's house to arrest her. That it is sad that this kind of lawlessness is been covered up.
