Abia state is one of the Nigerian state that is said to be unlucky with leaders. Their past leaders leave greatly underperformed keeping the state below in terms of infrastructural developments.
But the current government seems to be growing expecially in Aba the commercial hub of the state. The governor seems to doing great at the moment and is seriously building quality roads around the state.
But what is difficult to understand is why most of the politicians expecially the legislators have decided to build mini stadium in most of the government owned schools across the state. They are converting the school fields into mini stadium.
The first to do so was Ginger onwusibe, member representing Isiala Ngwa North in the state house of assembly. He build one in his community when he was the local government chairman and another one at mbawsi and currently has about 3 more under construction at the moment.
The speaker of the house of assembly also has one under construction. The member representing Isiala north and south in the house of Representatives also has one under construction plus many others across the state.
We are wondering why so much energy in mini stadium in the state. But it seems all of them are copying Ginger Onwusibe.
