In hausa land women are entitle to be given a traditional title to allow them participate as part of the emirate council in a state.
This will serve as a milestone of success that will listen to all women challenges concerning the hardship they are facing in society.
His Royal Highness, the Emir of Bauchi Alhaji Dr Rilwanu Adamu has turbaned the wife of Bauchi State as the first Sarauniyar Bauchi.
This was followed by her outstanding support and contributions towards the success of women in bauchi.
During the turbaning ceremony, the Emir said He marks his 10th year on the throne and he decided to do something different to prove gender equality in the state.
This has never been done before but its will surely encourage women to do more in our societies.
Her Excellency, Hajiya Aisha Bala mohammed promised to deliver her duties accordingly and also Appreciate bauchi emirate council for this great opportunity.
