The Report Of Israel Firing On Palestinian Protesters Proves They've Not Made Peace With One Another

If you recall vividly, 3 months ago, the people of Israel and Palestine engaged in a violent battle which resulted in several losses of lives, with most coming from the Palestinians.

According to recent reports, about 26 Palestinians have been wounded, including a 13-year old boy. But what brought about this violent behavior by the Jews (Israel)?

Palestinians were protesting along the border fence with Israel, throwing stones and also burning tires as a way to mark the burning of Jerusalem's Al-Aqsa mosque 52 years ago, which was one of the third holiest sites in Islam.

Hamas, which rules Gaza, a city in Palestine, marked today as a day to protest the loss of the third holiest mosque. The protest involved the throwing of rocks at the Israel border fence. The Israeli troops retaliated and fired back at 26 Palestinians, 10 of whom were children.

Hamas has condemned the act by Israel, saying it was an excessive force towards unarmed protesters.

Could this be the beginning of another conflict between Israeli troops and Hamas? This action solely proves that the two countries have not made peace with one another.

The bible encourages peace regardless of religion and being each other's keeper, but the actions of Israel and Palestine go against what the word of God says.

May God prevent another catastrophe unravelling between Israel and Palestine again.
