Many are conscious and familiar with the protests led by good-minded people of Nigeria about a few weeks ago. The protests were used as a medium to speak of the ills, brutality, and victimization the citizens of Nigeria are facing in the hands of sars and its associates.
The protesters also agitated for the welfare of the people, they implored the government to put an end to sars brutality, to put an end to bribery and corruption, to provide good amenities for the people, and to seek justice for those who have been unjustly killed by sars and to get the government to meet all their pressures.
The protest then turned dismal as the people were heavily massacred at Lekki toll gate on the 20th October 2020, a day to be remembered by all. This resulted in the loss of lives, properties, and many severely injured. This turned the country into a state of emergency and a state of unrest as there was violence all over the country.
So earlier today, three vans that were fully loaded with armed policemen were caught under the bridge today. This has inflicted terror among the passerby.
This act was a strategy to stop any protest from happening.
Just a few days ago, President Muhammadu Buhari had a closed-door meeting with his associates and he swore that he will not entertain any protest again.
