The Chairman of the National convention planning committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ahmadu Fintiri reportedly made it known that the journey to reclaim at least 28 out of 36 states of the Federation for their party has commenced, this is in regards to their upcoming convention, and he further vows to give their party the best. However, a report from Punch News made it known that he made the promise in his acceptance speech after the inauguration of the committee at the Party's National headquarters in Abuja, on Friday. He also appealed to his fellow governors as well as the party members to make the required sacrifices so as to position the party to reclaim it's pride of place come 2023.

You will agree with me that the 28 states above that Ahmadu Fintiri claims for PDP is such that will go a long way in aiding their party's capacity, and this is something the National Working Committee of APC should not allow to happen as it is dentrimental to their own existence, they are expected to be swift in their actions and see how they can become more formidable than PDP if they truly desires victory in subsequent elections.

The smart move APC NWC should make to counter PDP;
The game of politics is all about plans and strategies, and it is expected of APC to be diplomatic in their moves if they want to remain in power in subsequent years, they can achieve this by getting across to all the states in the federation and ensures that they have loyalists and believers in the wards in the respective states. This is a move that will help them in capturing the political capacity of the entire states in the country and will also aid them in neutralizing that of PDP. Meanwhile, you will further agree with me that the combination of states forces is such that determines victory in the general election, hence if APC are wise in their move and see how they can have the majority of the states on their side by having loyalist across them, when these forces are combined, it will help the party in beating other parties most especially their major opposition which is PPD coupled with their power of incumbency.

PDP as a party had been ruling the country since the year 1999 until they lost it to APC in the year 2015. However, they have been trying their best to see how they can have the power back, and the recent statement from the chairman of their convention to claim 28 states out of 36 is such that should not be taken lightly by APC, hence the best authority to have it neutralized is the National Working Committee of APC, and it can be achieved with consideration to the above stated point which will prevent things falling apart for them in subsequent elections.
