The immediate past Chairman of Governor's NGF forum and former Governor of Zamfara State, Alhaji Abdulazeez Yari, has confirmed that the All Progressives Congress, APC" would ensure power must be shift to the South in 2023.
According to information disclosed by the former Governors Forum Of Nigeria that he might vie for the party’s national chairman office should it be zoned to the North by the Leader of APC, and "Yari maintain that we expected that after the tenure expiration of President Muhammadu Buhari’s power would shift to the South
He explained further that As we have seen the nature of how the presidency will look like, it has to go to the South, which the chairmanship may likely as well come to the North West in preparation for 2023 Election. But Abdulazeez Yari, declined to be specific about which of the three geo-political zones in the South should have the ticket.
In his statement, if Chairmanship definitely zoned to the North West, certainly I am one of the potentials. I will run for APC chairmanship office. If not, I am still a core party member.
