The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP presidential election, Atiku Abubakar has hired a legal team comparing 19 Senior Advocates of Nigeria to challenge the outcome of the February 25 election.

Briefing newsmen in Abuja on Wednesday, Atiku said about 19 SANs are already on ground to take up the case, asking them to establish the claim of illegality in the election and reclaim the mandate of the Nigerian people.

President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed sorrow over the loss of elder statesman Alhaji Musa Musawa.
Born on April 1, 1937 the deceased was a broadcaster, diplomat and astute politician. He died on Tuesday following a protracted illness.
Alhaji Musa Musawa is survived by a number of children and other family members including the deputy spokesperson of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Barrister Hannatu Musawa.
In a statement Wednesday by his media office, Asiwaju Tinubu described the late statesman from Katsina as one of the last bastions of freedom fighters who fought for Nigeria’s independence.
BVAS: INEC Shifts Guber, Assembly Elections To March 18.

Due to its inability to commence the reconfiguration of the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System, BVAS, machines on time, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has postponed the governorship and state assembly elections fixed for March 11 to March 18.
The Court of Appeal, yesterday, gave the commission the nod to reconfigure the BVAS used for the February 25 Presidential and National Assembly polls in readiness for the state elections.
Confirming the postponement, the Head of Voter Education, Publicity, Gender and Civil Society Organisation of INEC in Ondo State, Funke Segun-Osifeso said: “This is to inform you that the House of Assembly election has been officially postponed till Saturday 18/02/2023".
INEC Must Transmit Gov Polls Results Electronically – Court.

The Federal High Court in Lagos, on Wednesday, ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission to directly and electronically upload from the polling units to the IReV the results of the forthcoming, governorship and state House of Assembly elections in Lagos State.
Justice Peter Lifu made the order while delivering judgment on a suit filed by the Labour Party and 41 others, in which they sought an order of mandamus to compel INEC to obey the Electoral Act and its guidelines for the conduct of the elections.
