Reactions As Charly Boy Advises INEC Chairman To Do The Right Thing Or Face The Anger Of Nigerians

Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, popularly known as "Charly Boy," has stirred mixed reactions on social media as he urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman Yakubu Mahmood to do the right thing regarding the outcome of the 2023 presidential election.

Recall that there have been controversies regarding the outcome of the February 25 presidential election, with both the Labour Party's presidential candidate, Peter Gregory Obi, and the People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar, rejecting the outcomes.

However, Charly Boy, reacting to these developments, took to his official Twitter handle to say, "Mr. INEC Chairman, it has become abundantly clear that you have not been truthful about the events surrounding the presidential election.

"I caution you to do the right thing or face the wrath of millions of my fellow frustrated Nigerians who are only looking for a better life. I also guarantee that Obidients will never let this slip; believe me. You're up against a well-timed movement."

As expected, Charly Boy's remarks on Twitter elicited reactions from his followers, who took to his comment box to air their views.

A Twitter user identified as Abdulrahman MS said, "Who in his right mind will think that anyone among the 3 branches of the PDP will win the presidential election against a single APC."

Olanrewaju Folawiyo said, "The right thing is to come out and vote, because we are ever ready to defeat you on Saturday. By God's grace"

The Victor Ola said, "So you'd lead the fight and be in the front, sir, or you'll incite the youths to fight and stay back while they bear the brunt of the consequence of your call? I've not seen any of your offspring agitate or become involved in protest like you always push these youths to do. Is that fair?"
