The Rector, Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Engr. Dr. Michael Chidiebere Arimanwa (FNSE), over the weekend commended and congratulated His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma, as he marks one year in office as Executive Governor of Imo State.
The Rector specifically commended the Governor for the quality of construction work at the ongoing Naze/Nekede/Ihiagwa/Obinze road, which has made movement in and out of the Polytechnic much easier.
The road, which is a major one leading to the institution, before now, was a nightmare to staff, students, visitors and the entire host communities, because of its deplorable nature.
While congratulating Governor Hope Uzodinma for a successful one year in office, the Rector prayed for God's wisdom for the remaining years in office. The Rector who is also a clergyman encouraged the Governor to see to see to the speedy completion of the project in the interest of commuters and surrounding communities.
Engr. Arimanwa since assuming duties as the Rector, Federal Polytechnic Nekede, have used his good offices to bring and attract the attention of the government to the suffering of all who ply the all important road.
