3 Southern Presidential Candidates That May Restructure Nigeria If They Become President.

The issue of restructuring Nigeria's system of government has been one of the most talked about so far, as many people, especially in the south, believe that restructuring is the only thing that can restore peace to Nigeria and solve the falling economic problem that we are facing.

Meanwhile, many Northerners have different beliefs and opinions about restructuring. Many of them see restructuring as a ploy to break up Nigeria, and indeed, they claim that dialogue and unity are the only things that can drag us out of the numerous problems that are coming our way.

However, as President Muhammadu Buhari has made it known that restructuring is not a way out to solve our problems, these are the 3 southern presidential candidates who are looking forward to the 2023 election and may restructure Nigeria if they finally become President.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu:

Just like what the majority of the southerners want, this two-time governor of Lagos state also believes in the restructuring of Nigeria, and he may put it as one of the top tasks if he finally becomes president of Nigeria, which many people believe he is eyeing.

During his speech in 2017, Tinubu made it known that the chance of making real progress in Nigeria is slim if we don't restructure Nigeria. Apart from that, restructuring is also needed to create balance.

Peter Obi:

This former Governor of Anambra state, who many people believe to be eyeing the presidency in the 2023 election, also follows the trend.

Peter Obi has declared his stand on restructuring. In many of his speeches, he makes it known that, apart from the fact that restructuring will really help in boosting the economy of Nigeria. The killings, banditry, and other criminal attacks that we are facing in Nigeria will not end if restructuring is not put into consideration.
