Why I Joined The APC- Fani-Kayode Speaks on His Defection

Former aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode  has revealed why he joined the All Progressives Congress, APC

Fani-Kayode explains that the APC he is in is different from the APC he has strongly criticised in the past.

The former minister officially defected from the ruling party on Thursday.

His defection was exposed at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, when he was presented to President Muhammadu Buhari by the Interim National President of the APC.

However, the former minister explained that he joined a forward-thinking and adaptive party.

Speaking to the TV Channel, Fani-Kayode confirmed that he joined the APC to maintain national unity.

When asked if he signed up for financial gain, he replied: "I find it very insulting that this is from you or from my detractors. I am not the first to have run away. "Have you asked others about the same question?

No one knows tomorrow. "If you asked all the politicians this question, you would get the same answer: No one knows tomorrow. I have my values and I will continue to work in this direction.
