Femi Fani Kayode Reacts To The Death Of Senator Buruji Kashamu

Former Minister of Aviation and Culture in Nigeria, Mr. Femi Fani Kayode has reacted to the death of Senator Buruji Kashamu. Mr. Kayode expressed shock and sadness over the death of the Ogun State born politician who he described as his brother and friend.

He prayed to God Almighty to reward Senator Kashamu with a place in heaven and forgive him his sins. He stated that Senator Kashamu fought a good fight and will be missed. The news broke today that the politician died of COVID-19 complications at the First Cardiology Hospital in Lagos. Senator Kashamu who died at age 62 was the Senator who represented Ogun East in the eighth Senate. The PDP politician attended Ansarudeen primary school in Ijebu Igbo ans St. John modern college Lagos. He took courses in Business Management at the Pitman College London. Kashamu contested the Governorship seat of Ogun State in 2019 general elections under the platform of the People's Democratic Party but lost to the incumbent Governor of Ogun State Prince Dapo Abiodun. Some Nigerians have been reacting to his death on different Social Media platforms. Before now, some politicians like Senator Abiola Ajimobi, Chief of Staff to President Buhari, Mallam Abba Kyari and a few others have died of complications of Coronavirus. May their souls rest in peace.
