Buhari Condoles With Adamawa Community Over Insurgents Attack

The Federal Government led by President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled with the Kwapre community in the Hong Local Government Area (LGA) of Adamawa over the recent Boko Haram insurgents attack.

Buhari, represented by Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustafa, said this when he visited the community on Sunday.

The president expressed his deepest sympathy and condolence to the affected community.

Recently, No fewer than 1000 supporters of former Governor, Abdulaziz Yari and Senator Kabiru Marafa from Bungudu Local Government Area of Zamfara State have dumped the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) and embraced the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The decampees were yesterday evening received earlier by the PDP State Chairman, Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani Maikatako who later presented them to Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle at his residence in Gusau, the state capital.

Omowumi Ogunlola, has appealed to executive to always treat the judiciary and legislature as partners.

Specifically, Ogunlola advised the State Governors to work harmoniously with the judiciary and legislature to develop the country’s democracy, rather than seeing them as appendages of the executive arm.

Remita Commences Sale Of 2021 UTME ePINs

Remita, a leading electronic payment company, has said it began the sale of 2021 Universal Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) ePINs to prospective candidates seeking admission into tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

The company revealed this in a statement at the weekend, noting noted that the decision followed a recent announcement by the Joint Admission and Matriculations Board (JAMB), of the sale of ePINs for UTME and Direct Entry registrations till May 15.
