Rufai Hanga, Senator-Elect, Kano Central, has described President Muhammadu Buhari as the worst president Nigeria has ever had. He said Buhari is an abject failure, who is incapable.

Hanga stated this during an interview on Trust TV’s Daily Politics.

He said, “Buhari was posing himself as a Messiah and unfortunately, but that was untrue. The Trustworthy (Mai Gaskiya) is the best nickname he would like to have, but he is not. Look at what he did, he surrounds himself with people that have fat files with EFCC and those that he used to abuse before.

“Before I believed in Buhari but now I have seen the right thing. I now know better. He is a Total Failure. He will sleep confidently in Daura because he doesn’t know what is happening. He has no capacity. Buhari has no capacity.

Governor Nyesom Wike has asked members of the new Rivers Civil Service Commission to immediately go to work immediately and put machinery in place for carrying out the backlog of promotion of civil servants across all levels and the planned employment of thousands of youths into the civil service.

Wike said both exercises are not political and must be completed in the next one month.

Wike, according to Kelvin Ebiri, his Special Assistant media gave the directive when he sworn-in new members of Civil Service at Government House, Port Harcourt on Monday.

The Commission has Sir. Clifford Ndu Walter as the Chairman with Venerable Richard Okpara, Barr. Osima Gina, Sir. John Pascal Nali and Chief Mike Elechi as members.

Wike warned them against using their offices to witchhunt anybody, but should make sure that they do a thorough work.

The PUNCH gathered that the hoodlums killed one Mr Dennis, his son and one other person while they were working on their farm.

It was further gathered that the deceased were slain while trying to fend off the gun-toting herders and their cattle from grazing and destroying crops on their farms.

A former president of the Ijaw Youth Council, Dr Chris Ekiyor, who hails from Patani Local Government Area, appealed for calm among members of the community advising them not to take laws into their own hands.

He also called on the government and security agencies to fish out the killers.

Dr Ekiyor urged the state government to address the issue of insecurity in the area so as to forestall any further crisis.
