The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ebonyi State, Dr Ifeanyi Odii, has said the “fake romance” between Governor David Umahi and a former President of the Senate, Anyim Pius Anyim, will not stop him from emerging victorious in Saturday’s polls.
Anyim had on Wednesday, at his Ishiagu country home, in the Ivo Local Government Area of the state, hosted Umahi and declared his support for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Francis Nwifuru.
Anyim, who is a chieftain of the PDP, said his decision was based on the need for equity, saying there was need for power to shift to Ebonyi North Senatorial District.
