The governor who was a guest in a program on Channels Television said that the problem of insecurity that is currently the bane of the nation is a problem carried over from past administrations. The governor exonerated President Muhammadu Buhari from any blame whatsoever.
Speaking in Politics Today on Channels Television Governor Badaru Abubakar testified that the problem of insurgency, Herdsmen Kidnapping and killing and Banditry we're even more with previous administration but has greatly reduced in this present administration thanks to the effort of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Northern governor stressed that before Buhari there were bombings everywhere in Sokoto, in Maduguri and the UN office in Abuja, but now in this present dispensation, that has ceased. He also pointed out that the problem of Herdsmen came as a result of the past administrations not settling the Herdsmen well.
