Patrick Obahiagbon lays blame clearly on the shoulders of the Edo state Government over the forcefully removal of Political bill boards and Posters the National Vice Chairman, Media & Publicity Apc Edo Governorship Elections described the act as undemocratic.
I Quote "The Edo State Government acting Under the instructions of the out going Governor Godwin Obaseki has commenced the destruction and Elation and removal of all outdoor billboards and campaign posters of our great party the All Progressive Congress (APC) and the candidate Pastor Osagie Ize Iyamu we are convinced that this act of intolerance Despiracy, Harum-scarum carried out with impunity foreshadows what the Edo State Government has in Store for the Edo voters and our supporters in the September 19th Elections following the emergence of incontrovertible facts that Mr. Godwin Obaseki is on his egress and on his way out".
Apc while insisting that the action of the State Government will not affect its fortunes of the upcoming polls saying the appropriate authorities has been informed about this act. Away from the briefing hole the Edo State APC publicity Secretary Mr.Chris Azebamwen leads journalists to some of the sites where is party Billboard and Poster was removed according to him this is done simply because Governor Obaseki and the People Democracy Party (PDP) has no Program to sell to Edo People.
