According to the latest report that came on social media platform, in respect to the recent threat Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of IPOB who created Eastern Security Network (ESN) revealed that he will be sending ESN operatives to Ado and Oju Local Government Areas in Benue state to protect igbo people living there due to the recent incident.
However, James Oche, the chairman of Ado Local Government Area in Benue state has issued warning to Kanu concerning his threat of sending ESN operatives to the area.
According to the chairman, while speaking with the newsmen said Kanu should cease from pulling the state into his self acquiring campaign, because Benue state would never be a subject of Biafra agitation. He said if he didn't stop, he's going to face the punishment of the law.
Furthermore, the chairman also reacted to the incident of the kidnapping of three persons in the area. He said they were actually apprehended in conenction with a murder case of one Mohammed Isa, a Fulani Man.
According to the following statements, the chairman said that:
"It was an act that threatened the security of the area and made the Deputy Governor summon a meeting that was held yesterday in Makurdi with all concerned stakeholders.
“Kanu reportedly issued statements charging Benue Governor to protect ‘IPOB communities’ or he would send Eastern Security Network operatives to do so. He should stop insulting the sensibilities of Benue people.”
