In Nigeria, we are currently in the rainy season, and many people in their various communities are experiencing flooding.
However, the Nigerian national assembly is not left out among the places that are affected by the heavy rainfall.
There was heavy rainfall on the 22nd of June 2021. After the rainfall, the building was flooded because the roof of the building was leaking.
The Nigerian national assembly is a two-chambered legislative house that was established 27 years ago, to contain the Senate and members of the house of representatives.
A conference meeting was scheduled to take place at the Nigerian national assembly when the building was already flooded after the rainfall.
The lawmakers needed to wait for some hours for a group of people who came to evacuate the water from inside the building.
