2 Statements By Stakeholders On IGP's Planned Deployment Of 34,587 Soldiers To Anambra That We Should Know.

As the Anambra Gubernatorial election is coming closer every day, the insecurity is rising in Anambra, as unknown gunmen that many believe to be IPOB are killing and destroying the government and the citizens' properties.

Let's recall that some groups of Indigenous People of Biafra that were created by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu once declared that there would be no election in any of the South-East states.

The Nigerian government has taken many steps to curb the insecurity in Anambra, just like they are doing in every other state that insecurity is affecting, but these members of this proscribed group are still causing mayhem.

However, to make the upcoming gubernatorial election peaceful and fair in Anambra, the federation's attorney general and minister of justice, Abubakar Malami, has once suggested that the federal government should declare a state of emergency in the state, which many people, including President Muhammadu Buhari, don't see as a good step.

However, the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, shocked many people some hours ago, after he deployed 34,587 police to protect democracy in Anambra and make sure that the lives of the voters were safe.

Meanwhile, some stakeholders who have different beliefs about how the IGP deployed the large number of police in the state make these 2 sentences that we should know.

The deployment of 34,587 policemen will stop many people from coming out to vote.

The stakeholders claimed that although everybody is aware of the ugly insecurity situation in Anambra, but deploying the large number of soldiers there is not the best way to cure it.

They claim that the step of the IGP will force many people to not come out to vote because of the fear. As we all know, their lives are more important to them than the upcoming gubernatorial election.

Deploying the large number of police to the state is a plan to impose the APC party on the people of Anambra.

The stakeholders also claim that deploying numerous police is not ordinary to stop the insecurity in Anambra, but it is a plan and tactic to impose the candidate of the APC party on the people of Anambra.

Let's recall that the Ohanaeze also said something like this some days ago after the Attorney general of the federation and the Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, suggested a state of emergency be declared in Anambra.
