As voting is currently ongoing across the country, a popular Arise News journalist, Rufai Oseni has alleged that there are report of civil disturbance by thugs at Sabo Oniba Primary School, Ojo area, Ojo LGA of Lagos state and he has advised Nigerians to avoid those areas for now for their own safety. Oseni Rufai who made this disclosure on his Twitter page disclosed that the unrest in the Ojo area of the state started at around 10:18 am today and he has advised voters to wait for reinforcement from the security agents in the area before going back to vote.
However, there has been several reports that voting has been disrupted at many polling units in Lagos by hoodlums suspected to be members of the All Progressives Congress. While reacting on Twitter, Rufai said, "Report of civil disturbance by thugs at Sabo Oniba Pri. School, Ojo area, Ojo LGA. Avoid the area".
