President Buhari Presides over Security Meeting (Photos Included).

President Muhammadu Buhari presided over a security meeting which held today, September 7, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

At the meeting, the Security Chiefs gave the president updates on the recent security operations carried out in different parts of the country.

Some of those present at the meeting were Minister of Defence, General Bashir Magashi (Rtd); Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami; and the Service Chiefs led by Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Lucky Irabor.

The president must have been alerted over the security issues prevailing in some parts of the country and that is why he must have called for such meeting.

Killings, abductions and destruction of properties are now the order of the day, particularly in the North where bandits and other terrorist groups have being carrying out their operations for some period of time.

This meeting should yield better results and ways on how to deal with these terrorists once and for all should be discussed so that the lives of the people will be secured.
