I Asked APC Why They Did Not Bring Osinbajo Instead Of Tinubu If They Want Nigeria To Work-Peter Obi

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the February 25th election, Peter Obi has stated that he is desperate to see Nigeria prosper.

During Peter Obi's visit to Dele Momodu a chieftain of the PDP, he said that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who contested the APC presidential ticket and lost to Bola Tinubu would have made a better president than Tinubu. He said he even confronted the APC on why the party didn't ensure that Osinbajo emerged as its presidential candidate instead of Tinibu. He also said for Nigeria to function effectively, the country needs someone like him (Peter Obi) who can work tirelessly.

In his words "I am desperate to see Nigeria work, I don't hide it any day and anytime. I even confronted APC: if you want it why didn't you bring Osinbajo let's have the place working for everybody so that we can have people who want to work for the country and are healthy and good. The person we brought out today, it is not as if he can not do this 20 years ago maybe but not today, because the country needs someone like me 24 hours working. We need younger ones"
