President Muhammadu Buhari was born on the 17th of December in 1942, He is a Nigerian politician and current President of Nigeria. He has been the President since 2015 after he had won the 2019 election and secured a second term spot.
Muhammadu Buhari served as military head of state from 1983 to 1985, after taking power in a military coup d'état. He was later ousted by Rtd General Ibrahim Babangida and He retired as a Major General of the Nigerian Army.
President Muhammadu Buhari was born in Daura, Northern Region of Nigeria (then Daura, british Nigeria) and He got married to Safinatu Yusuf in 1971 and later got divorced in 1988. He went on to marry Aisha Halilu in 1989) and she went on to become his present wife and First lady of Nigeria.
The President had affiliations with various political parties like Congress for Progressive Change (2010–2013), All Nigeria Peoples Party (2002–2010) before pitching his tent with the All Progressives Congress in 2013 till date.
