Chibuike Amaechi, the honorable minster of transportation has taken to his Twitter handle to share a video where the newly delivered coaches were test-run on the completed Itakpe-Warri standard gauge rail line.
"Today we started test-run of the newly delivered coaches on the completed Itakpe-Warri standard gauge rail line." Honorable minster wrote.

Recall that, the honorable minster had on Tuesday 22nd January, 2020, said that Itakpe-Warri has been completed.
"The Itakpe-Warri rail line project is now completed and now ready for commissioning. The @NGRPresident @MBuhari will do the honours," he said.
However, Itakpe-Ajaokuta-Warri rail line has a length of 276 km and links warri in Delta State to Ajokuta in Kogi State.
The rail service has 12 stations with two located within Itakpe, Ajokuta and Warri. They include Itakpe; Eganiy; Adobe; Itogbo; Age Ebode; Uromu; Egehen; Igbanke; Agbor; Abraka; Okpara and Ujewu station.
