While some are of the view that the 2023 presidential election lacked the credibility Nigerians envisaged, because according to them, it wasn't that free and fair, the APC Chieftain, Biodun Ajiboye has said that INEC conducted a free, fair and credible election, adding that the election was "fantastic".
Speaking on whether the APC has confidence in INEC ahead of the Gubernatorial Election, Biodun Ajiboye said that the ruling party has always had confidence in the Electoral process in Nigeria, and that those who don't have confidence in INEC are bad losers who want the election to be annulled because they lost. Biodun Ajiboye said there is no where in the world where an election will be annulled because the opposition party lost.
In his words, he said:
"We have sufficient confidence in INEC. Those who now say they don't have confidence in INEC are just bad losers; because they have lost an election, they want the election canceled. I don't know where that happens in the world."
