Few days after the clash between members of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) and the Nigerian soldiers in Orlu, Imo state, A Monarch has recalled his experience with the police and has lamented heavily on the maltreatment he went through.
The Monarch who goes by the name Eze Boniface Okereke in his interview has narrated what happened to him during the Orlu crisis and he tagged the incidence as the greatest humiliation of his life. According to him, he was made to lie on the floor for about 8 minutes even with his status.
After Sahara reporters reported the news on their Twitter page, people have been reacting. One of the notable reactions came from a Twitter user who goes by the name @Kiiingsley who reacted by saying “This Igwe was expecting the Igwe sign on his plate number to do the talking for him.I don’t mean any offense but you need to be a King from within before you can command respect, stand up for your position and watch Police and Army accord you the respect you deserve”
He continued by saying “From his narrative he didn’t even act like an Igwe,he quickly rushed out of the vehicle when he was ordered to do so. Don’t assume the role of a King if you know you are a wimp. Na una Dey follow fall out hands”
