
In the recent times, senator Goodswill Akpabio, the minister of Niger Delta affairs has been in the news over the ongoing probe of the financial affairs of the NDDC by the senate. However, the accused is always said to be innocent until he is convicted by the court. That however is not our concern in this article. We want to look at the lovely family of former senator and current minister of Niger Delta affairs, Goodswill Akpabio
Goodswill Akpabio, the incumbent minister of Niger Delta was former senator of the federal Republic of Nigeria from 9 June 2015 to 9 June 2019. He was governor of Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria from May 29, 2007 to May 29, 2015.
He is the son of Chief Obot Akpabio and madam Lucy Obot Akpabio of Ukana, Ikot Etuen in Essein Udim local government area. He has a degree in law from the University of Calabar. He is married to Ekaette Unoma and they are blessed with five children, four girls and one boy.
