"Gov. Bello Said I'm A Small Rat That Should Be Strangled & Killed When Sighted" - Natasha Akpoti

The Kogi Central's senatorial candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP); Natasha Hadiza Akpoti, went live some hours ago on her verified Facebook page to level some accusations against Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello of Kogi state.

Natasha Akpoti said, "I am aware that Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello had a meeting in the government house three days ago where he said I am a small rat that should be strangled and killed when sighted. He told them that if they do so, nothing will happen."

Speaking further, Natasha Hadiza Akpoti said, "Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello does not know that if he kills me he will not go scot-free. He will be descended on heavily if he tries it. I want to know why he wants my blood on his hands. I want to serve my people as an indigene of the state. They said I'm a woman but they does not make me unqualified to serve my people. I don't need muscles but need the brain to serve them. That I married a man from Delta state does not make me less of an indigene of Kogi state."

Speaking about the election, Natasha Hadiza Akpoti said, "I have won four out of five zones in the senatorial election but they want to rig the last local government in their favor. They want to rig the election that election that held in Ajaokuta but I will not make that happen. I will not leave until the votes are counted."
