Governor Wike redeems the N30m bounty he placed on Bobosky, see beneficiaries

Governor of Rivers State, Governor Nyesom Wike has fulfilled the promise of giving N30 million naira to who ever catches notorious criminal, Bobosky.

He has paid the N30m bounty to the police for apprehending criminal suspect, Bobosky.

The event took place yesterday September 17, in Port Harcourt.

The money was handed to the State's Police Commissioner, Joseph Makun in form of check by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Tammy Danagogo who was representing the governor.

He said in a statement: “The governor, Governor Wike will continue to be true to his words. If we recall, this is not the first occurrence where the governor has redeemed his promise. Remember Don Wani, a criminal who troubled the peace of ONELGA, all security personnels and citizens were activated till he was apprehended, and the governor also redeemed his pledge in that case. I thank the police officer and the informant for apprehending the criminal.

The commissioner of police showed his gratitude to Governor Wike for redeeming his pledge, and recalled how they had sleepless nights and how they displayed high level of professionalism before they were able to apprehend the criminal.
