Popular Nightlife Brand, Club Quilox Reopened

After what was a very long week for Shina Peller, he appears to have gotten a breather finally as the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) confirms the reopening of his popular club, Club Quilox.

According to the Lagos state government, the nightclub was only reopened after the management of the club pledged their commitment to comply with the state’s Environmental Laws and Regulations.

Dr Dolapo Fasawe, the General Manager of LASEPA released a statement today that reads:

”We are reopening the club for operation as it has fulfilled our conditions and complied with the extant law guiding its operations.

”The club was sanctioned and fined for environmental nuisances and we ensure total compliance before reopening,”

According to Fasawe, the incident that occurred with Club Quilox is meant to serve as a deterrent for other organizations that violate the state’s Environmental Laws and Regulations on a daily basis.

Club Quilox will now return to full operation as an agreement has been reached between the club’s management and LASEPA as regards the club returning to business without obstructing the flow of traffic on Ozumba Mbadiwe, Victoria Island and connecting streets in the suburb.

According to Fasawe, the club’s management also promised to ensure its clients’ vehicles will now be properly parked without obstructing traffic and the issue of noise pollution will now become a thing of the past.

Hopefully the long arm of the law isn’t limited to just the nightlife businesses and social gatherings, the pollution and inconveniences caused by churches and religious gatherings as well need to be checkmated. Well done LASEPA.
