2 APC Party Leaders Governor Abdulrahman Should Seek Their Support Before Contesting 2023 Election

The governor of Kwara State, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq is by far a political gladiator that is changing narrations in Kwara State, after he defeated the long years of political dictatorship that is allegedly forced on Kwarans by the Saraki dynasty which have been controlling the State for close to 20 years.

Although it was not the political will of Governor Abdulrahman alone, nor the 'Otoge' slogan that chased out the Saraki dynasty, but the resolve of the people of Kwara State that were fed up with the fall in all sectors of the State. Another aspect that made Governor Abdulrahman the State Governor was the supports he got from other political coalitions that were also tired of the Saraki dynasty. However, for Abdulrahman to become victorious in 2023, there are these two APC powerful politicians he needs to get their support.

1. Lai Mohammed

Lai is very popular in Kwara State, but he has been at loggerheads with Governor Abdulrahman. For the Governor to win in 2023, he needs his support to get the votes of the people of Kwara South and the national party’s support. Lai might not be a Kwara-based politician, but he controls a large number of supporters in the State which can give Governor Abdulrahman the required support and votes he needs to get a second term in office.

2. Professor Oba Abdulrahman

An APC steward in Kwara State, who has the political will to slug it out with the incumbent Governor Abdulrahman in the 2019 APC primary elections. It was rumored that Professor Oba was the winner of the primary election because of the support he has among Kwarans for his pedigree and records. Governor Abdulrahman should do all things possible by getting his support to become victorious at the poll in the upcoming General elections in 2023.
