His Excellency, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos state, have recognised a young Nigerian artist, who made a hilarious drawing of his image. The governor invited the artist to his office, and appreciated him.
The young artist who is known for using pencil to make hilarious drawings of celebrities, made a drawing of the Lagos state governor.
After he posted the drawing on his Instagram page, and tagged Governor Babajide. The governor reacted to the post, and invited him to his office.
Many people thought he could be arrested, for making such drawing. But many were disappointed, after the Governor celebrated the young artist. The governor took to his Instagram page on Tuesday October 19, to share some photos of him and the artist.
He wrote: "The best artist in UAR came to present his drawing to me. I honestly can't lay claim to the person in the frame, but I lay claim to the fact that we will continue to support and encourage our talented youths in Lagos state. We are also adding fashion and entertainment to our school curriculum".
The governor also made it clear that the young man was not arrested.
