My Expectations For the Lagos State Governorship Election -Chris Kehinde
By Adegori22 (self media writer) | 20 days ago
A prominent Nigerian journalist and news publisher, Chris Kehinde, has shared some of his expectations regarding the upcoming governorship election in Lagos State. Kehinde made the revelation on Plus TV while commending the achievements of the Labour Party across Nigeria in the presidential election.
Addressing the topic, Kehinde said, "I cannot tell you which party will win the governorship election in Lagos State, but the outcome of the presidential election in the state is too close to call between APC and Labour Party. Also, more violence should be expected since violence occurred during the governorship election in Lagos State. This is because more would be at stake for the governorship election.
He added, "This is why we are urging security agencies to strengthen their efforts in securing various parts of the state. Only a few unarmed officers were stationed across polling units during the presidential election, and they could not do much to handle the attacks. I wonder what anyone would expect them to do in such a situation.
