For 3 months now, schools and churches are all on lockdown, no pastor preaching on the pulpit, in front of large crowds, and no teacher teaching group of students, but there are two states in Nigeria preparing for their election which will hold soon.
But important sectors like schools and churches aren't resuming yet, the crowd and gathering in an election is more than that of any school, so what's the excuse here?
If schools and churches can be on lockdown because of COVID 19, then why can't Edo and Ondo election too be postponed, the All progressive party (APC) and People Democratic Party (PDP) candidates and voters should forget about the election so as to also observe the guidelines, things shouldn't be partial.
This is really a big case to me, if markets can reopen, election can hold, then nothing should be stopping schools and churches from reopening.
Have dropped my views on this, what do you have to say about this?
