President Muhammadu Buhari To address Nigerians On Democracy Day

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retired), will deliver a speech to Nigerians on Saturday in observance of Democracy Day, which falls on January 26 this year.

Femi Adesina, Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, made the announcement in a statement titled "President Buhari broadcasts to the country on June 12, 2021."

“To honor Nigeria's Democracy Day on June 12, 2021, President Muhammadu Buhari will address the country on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at 7 a.m.,” according to the announcement.

For the broadcast, “television and radio stations, as well as other electronic media outlets, are enjoined to connect to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria.”
