Top Politician Dies A Week After Burying Her Younger Brother.
Death, as they say is an inevitable event. Over a few period, the country has witnessed the deaths of top politicians.
Nigeria has lost another top politician. The People's Democratic Party's (PDP) flagbearer for the Cross River North Senatorial bye election, Dr Mary Iji has passed on. Reports claim that Dr Mary Iji was rushed to the hospital after she complained of headache and body weakness.
According to same report, her death occurred a week after she buried her younger brother in Ogoja. Dr Mary Iji was said to be hale and hearty until Monday evening when her complains started.
She died at the General hospital where she was rushed to for medical attention.
Until her death, she was a politician and a lecturer at the Faculty of Education, University of Calabar (UniCal).
