In his own words "I am 60+,they are in their 20s. I saw civil war, they did not. I have experience, they don't have. I known history, they do not know. I have seen it all, they have seen nothing. I am a leader, they are not. I have eyes, they have eyes but cannot see."
Mr Igbokwe is a great supporter of President Muhammadu Buhari, because of the good job the President is doing in his government, especially on the area of projects.
He said it is only in this government that he has seen a project that was awarded by a President or governor, is completed and delivered. Because in the past governments, people see government projects as a way of getting free money, but that , president Buhari came and changed everything.
He gave an example with the Lagos-Abeokuta-Ibadan standard gauge rail, commissioned by President Buhari last month. A project which he said was awarded 30 years ago.
