Festus Keyamo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and a member of the APC has said that they're filing a cross petition against the Labour Party. Keyamo said this at a press conference in Abuja as he reacts to the allegations by the Labour Party on electoral malpractice by the APC in the just concluded presidential elections.
Keyamo who accused the Labour Party of rigging in the southeast said that they would also be challenging the votes gotten by Peter Obi in the southeast and they're also on the move to cancel his votes at almost all the states in the southeast.
He said;
"The long and short of what I want to announce to you, that I will be a part of the legal team that will be constituted by the APC. In fact, we have constituted our legal team now as I speak with you. We even have volunteers who are also Senior Advocates, people who are willing to defend our mandate. And we are looking at all the results.
I also want to announce to the world that we are going to be filing a cross-petition to cancel the votes of the Labour Party in virtually almost all the states of the Southeast."
